Modern, Opalized Wood gemstone, Textured, artisan made ring Size 10 - Modern, Easy to Wear

The opalized wood gemstone in this ring is getting harder to find in examples like this. This is whats called replacement opal, or opalized petrified wood - the stone used to be wood millenia ago, and over those gazillion years, minerals crystalized and replaced the wood with gemstone opal. I adore the color in this stone, from the turquoise colors to the beachy browns. It is a summery ring for sure.

Textured band is extremely comfortable to wear. This is a slightly lighter gauge ring band which helps the comfort.

Every detail was added by hand.

This piece is totally handcrafted by me in my studio in the forested state of New Hampshire, USA using files, hammers, saws, punches and fire.

the top of the ring measures approx 1.25” x .75”

Tapered and hammered ring band is approx 1/4” wide at the smallest.

All metal is solid Sterling Silver, no filled or plated metals were used in this piece.

Like all my work, if you must polish it in the future...never dip it or use silver polish - simply use a soft jeweler's polishing cloth gently.
