My work in metal started young, watching my grandfather make a copper flower garden for my grandmother. He taught me the very basics of keeping surfaces clean, using the right amount of flux, and the importance of continuing to learn. He pushed me to create more often and create more complex things. I hear his voice in my head as I use his tools, many that he made himself. My love for telling metal what to do was sparked by his love for my grandmother, and his gifts to her... and I hope that you can feel all of that and more in my work.
