Artisan Made, Blue Pietersite Ocean Theme Necklace, with Dolphins. Made in New Hampshire, USA.

Two dolphins leap out of the water above a striking deep blue Pietersite that swirls as it catches the light. If you are familiar with tigers eye - this stone is very similar - but in shades of swirling blue.

The chatoyant pietersite gemstone has beautiful depth and the color is like a deep indigo blue swirling with the ocean with bits of orangey red for contrast.

Above the pietersite, adding a little splash to the scene are 3, 2mm moissanite gemstones that have a lovely sparkle.

Both sides of this pendant are fully detailed. Please see all photos.

This piece was made by my two hands, in my studio here in New Hampshire, USA, using saws, files, drills, hammers, punches and fire.

This necklace has an antique patina, with an aged satin finish and bears my thundercloud hallmark.

ABOUT THE STONES:
~~~~~<<<ۢۢۢ>>>~~~~~
PIETERSITE is also known as tempest stone. Probably due to the swirling patterns like churning storm clouds... pietersite is believed to be charged with energy for change, allowing you to create positivity in your life, enhance intuition and guide you on your spiritual path. Whatever you believe, it is a stunning stone that you can gaze at endlessly.
MOISSANITE is a diamond alternative, it was discovered in 1893, as a rare naturally occuring mineral, and later scientists learned how to grow the gem in a lab and then cut into gemstones. They have similar qualities as diamonds and are graded the same way. One of the nicest things about them, is that they are eco-friendly and sustainable, which aside from their incredible sparkle (they are double refectory stones), I don't have to worry about where they came from and whether obtaining them caused anyone harm.
